Saina Nehwal had her first significant effect in the Indian badminton space when she helped the Indian Badminton Team to win the Bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Additionally, she won the Silver award in the Girls Singles at the 2006 World Junior Championship. One of her greatest international achievement is that she won the Bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics.
