With patience, consistency and hard work, Abhishek Sharrma has successfully carved his space in the television industry. The actor who is currently seen playing the role of Devansh in Zee TV’s Vasudha has been getting a lot of praise from the viewers for his natural performance.

While success often comes with pressure, Abhishek looks at recognition in a very positive way. The actor spoke honestly about how appreciation from viewers affects him and why it pushes him to work even harder instead of making him feel burdened. Talking about the same, Abhishek shared, “It is absolutely motivating and inspires me. It never feels overwhelming; it’s always motivating for me.”

The actor admitted that recognition naturally brings expectations from the audience, but he does not see that as pressure. Instead, he feels grateful that people are noticing his work and connecting with him beyond just the screen.

“Yes, the recognition comes with higher expectations, but I see it as a blessing. When I started, I always wanted people to recognise me through my craft, through my work, through my nature, through my behaviour, my personality, and that is happening, which is always a blessing, and I welcome it with open arms,” he said.

Abhishek also spoke about the emotional responsibility actors carry while performing. According to him, actors work with the hope that viewers will feel connected to their characters, and when that happens, it gives them another reason to keep improving.

“As actors, we work to reach people emotionally, so when the audience appreciates our work and supports our journey, it gives us even more hunger to grow and perform better. So I’m getting hungrier day by day,” the actor added.

“And obviously, I stay grounded and humble. I know where I come from. I know what I have seen, and I know where I have to go,” he shared.

The actor further explained that success should never make an artist comfortable. For him, recognition is simply proof that the work is reaching people, but the bigger aim is to continue evolving as an actor.

“Success also reminds me that I have to keep evolving and proving myself. When you get recognised, it’s a reminder that your work is reaching people, and for an actor, that is very rewarding. I see it as a sign of growth, so the goal is not just to be noticed, it’s to keep evolving,” Abhishek concluded.
