Talented actor Jigyasa Singh who has enthralled audiences in the title role in Thapki Pyaar Ki had been shying away from being part of the supernatural genre till the time she was offered a chance to be part of the 4 Lions family helmed by Producer Gul Khan.

IWMBuzz.com recently reported about Jigyasa’s entry in the Star Plus show of 4 Lions Films, Nazar. If you have missed reading it, you can get a glance of it here .

Says Jigyasa who was last seen in Dev 2, “This is my first supernatural show. I am very happy to be working with 4 Lions Films and Gul Mam. Honestly speaking, I was keeping away from the genre of supernaturals. I was looking for a great romantic love story. I am very good at emotional and romantic scenes as that is my forte. I was not taking up anything, and was waiting for one to come my way. But yes, I have now ended up taking Nazar (smiles).”

Explaining more on her move, Jigyasa shares, “The trend of the supernatural genre has grown big with the success of Nazar. The biggest reason for me to take it up was that I wanted to work with Gul Mam. The styling of her shows is so very good. She is a master at handling love stories. And my track does have a love story too.”

Jigyasa will be paired opposite Mayank (Sumit Bhardwaj). “I will play the role of Tara Khanna. It has just been 3 days since I started my shoot. I only know that I will have a love story with Mayank. I am sure viewers will like it. Of course, there will be the supernatural twists in the track too. And as far as the track twists go, anything can be expected.”

Jigyasa is having a whale of a time shooting with the 4 Lions team. “I am happy to be shooting with this team. I have the eagerness to get up and go back to my shoot every day. The team has given me a fabulous look and I love it. They take care of every minute detail on set and I am impressed with the way in which they function.”

As a special message to fans, Jigyasa avers, “I owe my apologies to them as I have been away for long now. I hope they will like my work in Nazar.”

Best of luck, Jigyasa!!!
