Casting Director turned actor Anurag Chawla has been on a learning curve during this lockdown phase. The motivation he has derived out of the phase is that one needs to try really hard to get what he/she has set to acquire in life!!

For Anurag who has been a renowned Casting Director, acting has always been a passion and driving force!! He has earlier been seen in a comic role in Dill Mill Gayye.

However, work as Casting Director gained momentum years back. He has cast for many big-budget mythological shows and drama shows too.

Yes, Anurag has kept his first foot forward with the upcoming web-series Kaun? Who Did It?, which will launch on Flipkart.

The series has Sushant Singh and Samvedna Suwalka and is produced by Sikhya Entertainment.

Anurag will be seen in one of the episodic tales in a very prominent role, which has good scope for performance.

Says Anurag, “I had earlier come to the industry with a drive to become an actor. I have acted in many roles earlier. But my Casting work was prominent then and I could not get time to look into the acting helm of things seriously. However, this lockdown phase has taught me that I need to look into the acting front very seriously. A lot of lives have changed owing to the lockdown. I am trying to make my life better by following my dream of turning an actor. Kaun? Who Did It? is just the beginning. I will want to do more challenging roles, in TV and web.”

“I have a background of having studied in Shri Ram Centre For Performing Arts, Delhi. I have tutored aspiring actors. Having known my potential, guess this is the right time for me to tap into my credibility as an actor.”

Anurag actually comes from the reputed family of Virat Kohli. Anurag’s mother and Virat Kohli’s father are siblings by blood. However, Anurag has strived hard to come up the hard way in life.
