On 14 November, a day celebrated around the world as Children’s Day, IWMBuzz.com decides to speak to a few of the extraordinary talents of young performers in the entertainment industry. These gifted children engage us through the characters they play. They are loved and adored, and their fanbase is a sheer example of that!! The first in our list today is Harithi Joshi, who is presently seen in Sun Neo and Peninsula Pictures’ show, Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani.
“Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together make this world a beautiful garden.”, goes the famous saying. The celebration, on this day, is based on the belief that children are the architects of the nation’s future, and how they are nurtured will determine the country’s progress.
IWMBuzz.com talked to child actor Harithi to know her views on being a performer at such a young age. We also quizzed her on the special privilege she wants on the D-day.
Read on.
Performing as an actor at such a young age, how does it feel for you?
It feels exciting. I love being on the set, meeting new people and learning something new every day. It makes me feel special and confident.
Do you think it comes with its pros and cons? Explain both scenarios.
Yes, the good part is that I get to do what I love, and people appreciate me for my work. The tough part is that sometimes, I miss school and playing with friends. But I try to balance both in the ways I can.
On this special day for children, what is the special privilege you will aspire for?
I wish every child gets to follow their dreams and have fun learning new things without pressure.
If you are given the chance to change one rule in your school/set, what will it be?
I will make an extra fun class where we will have a break from the routine. It can be in school or on set, where everyone plays, laughs and dances for fifteen minutes (smiles).
How would you describe a perfect day for yourself?
A perfect day is when I finish my shoot early, play with my friends, and eat my favourite ice cream with my family.
What are your future goals?
I want to continue acting, learn more about cinema and do something creative like direction or dance. Yes, I want an Oscar Award also.
So cute, Harithi!!
Happy Children’s Day to all!!
