Rashami Desai is one of the popular actresses from the entertainment industry. The actress has worked in quite a few different works over the years. As the years went by she seemed to evolve and transform not only as a person but also as an actress. She has seen quite a bit of change in her work over the past few years. And while she has changed a bit she still seeks to evolve to a higher level. Read on to know more.
The actress made her TV debut back in 2006 with the mythological drama series Ravan which aired on Zee TV. She played the role of Queen Mandodari in the TV show. This is the show that kicked off her acting career.
She appeared in quite a few popular TV serials including Uttaran, Pari Hoon Main, Sasural Simar Ka, Naagin among others. She also worked in reality tv shows as well. She was a contestant on the show Bigg Boss which helped her gain quite a massive fan following. She also worked in the popular dance TV reality series.
While she has been quite well received by audiences, it’s been a while since she appeared on the screen. When asked about her plans on returning to television she responded, as per an India Forums report, ”Well, as of now I won’t be able to give any comment on this. I take one day at a time and do not think about anything in the future. If something comes on my way, I will be the first one to inform to all my fans and well-wishers.”
When asked about her evolution in her career. “Yes, work has changed quite a lot. As an actor, you have to evolve yourself. There are so many things that have changed. For me, initially, it was quite difficult to get adjusted to the new normal. But then as I said, we have to evolve and I have adapted myself to the same.”
