Senior actress Shubhangi Latkar, who plays the titular role of Ganga Mai in Zee TV‘s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, produced by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Dreamiyata Entertainment, loves to have the child in her active role. Today, 14 November, celebrated all over as Children’s Day, inadvertently takes us back to our days of childhood, where the day was one of the loved occasions, where the focus is primarily on valuing and appreciating the children.

Children’s Day holds a significance that goes well beyond just a celebration; it serves as a national reminder of our shared duty to safeguard the welfare, education, and rights of every child. This day highlights the crucial role that adults play in nurturing the young minds that will ultimately shape the future of our society.

Shubhangi Latkar recalls her childhood days, saying, “As a kid, my biggest worry was homework and whether I would win the fancy-dress competition. Today, my challenges may be bigger, but still, that child-like heart is inside me. From learning algebra to remembering my lines on the set, I have truly grown! To all little ones and the child in us, a very Happy Children’s Day!”

The day is certainly for kids, but, for a layman, the significance of Children’s Day boils down to two simple ideas: celebrating the joy of childhood and serving as an important reminder of society’s shared duty to protect and nurture every child!!.

Wishing our little readers a Happy Children’s Day!!
