Hiten Tejwani has had a memorable journey as actor in the TV industry. To think of it, the actor has been winning hearts by playing challenging roles for 18 years now.
Hiten stole limelight as the young guy Pratham Mittal in the Balaji Telefilms show for Sony TV, Kutumb along with wife Gauri Pradhan.
Hiten and Gauri were admired and loved as a Jodi by one and all. As Pratham and Gauri of Kutumb, they were household names.
Yesterday, 29 October, Kutumb completed 18 years and Ekta Kapoor was seen posting a picture of the show and Jodi on Instagram.
We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Hiten Tejwani who shared his thoughts and got nostalgic about his Kutumb memories.
Hiten said, “It is unbelievable and the feeling is awesome. Even today, people love watching Pratham, Gauri and Kutumb. Fans of Kutumb have been with the show for 18 years and love every bit of it. I am thankful to everyone, especially Ekta for giving my and Gauri the show Kutumb.”
For Hiten and Gauri, this show laid the perfect platform as with time, they fell in love and got married. Today, Hiten and Gauri have a blessed life filled with happiness.
“Kutumb gave me and Gauri recognition and love. Pratham and Gauri are remembered even today. There are fans requesting me to put up photos and videos from Kutumb. Unfortunately, we did not have the social media buzz then, and we do not have much of the memories as pictures or clicks. But yes, they watch it now on YouTube. They send me the clips too and request me to post that.”
When do we see you and Gauri sharing screen space again? “Everyone is asking me the same question (smiles). Once we have done Kutumb together, we have to do a show which is at par or above that. Yes, there are a lot of stories and offers coming in. We really want to work together, but the right project has to come.”
