Garvita Sadhwani, who plays the role of Rajji in Colors TV’s show Mahadev & Sons, produced by Parin Multimedia, is excited for Holi and has already planned her fashion style for the day. She is more excited as this year is special for her, as she has already been blessed with the new show Mahadev & Sons for Colors TV.

Talking about the significance of Holi, Garvita says, “For me, Holi is one of my favourite festivals. I love all festivals, but Holi is the most energetic and chaotic of all. This year, Holi is special as I am a part of the Colors TV family. I am already drenched with a lot of colours by being part of the channel’s show. Holi excites me, as it means playing, dancing with friends and family, eating, etc. Gujiya is the best item I relish.”

On her fashion quotient for the day, Garvita states, “Holi is always in white clothes. Girls actually buy white fashionable outfits for Holi. Ritually, we need to put on old white clothes for play during Holi. But we certainly shop a lot and buy a lot of white for Holi. I will wear white this year too, my favourite is a white shirt and shorts. But this year, I plan to wear a white kurta and go a little ethnic. My style quotient for any Holi is to keep it very simple. I want all sorts of colours on my dress to make my white beautiful.”

Talking about the Holi pranks and the lively memories, she says, “I have never drenched someone or pulled a prank on someone. Most of the pranks happen to me. I remember, when I was in the 6th, in Chandigarh, there was this trend of using pichkaris, which you wear like a bag on your shoulders. I walked with it in style. By the time I drenched people with my pichkari, a group of people painted my face silver-blue with their pichkaris. I miss all the fun we had on Holi during childhood.”

Here’s wishing all a very cheerful and colourful Holi!!
