Fresh off his back-to-back victories on MTV Roadies XX: Double Cross and Splitsvilla X6: Pyaar Ya Paisa, content creator turned reality TV star Kushal Tanwar—popularly known as Gullu—has officially stepped into the Bigg Boss 20 house. Even host Salman Khan couldn’t help but acknowledge his undeniable winning streak during his grand entry into the house during the premiere episode, highlighting how Gullu has quickly grown into a force to be reckoned with on reality television.

However, entering the Bigg Boss arena brings an entirely different dynamic. Unfazed by the massive expectations and past show formulas, Gullu opens up about his strategy, his natural personality, and why he isn’t here to follow anyone else’s playbook. “I have my own journey, and I don’t follow in anyone’s footsteps. Bigg Boss will show a brand new persona of mine—one that other reality formats have never brought out. I am strictly here to create my own path. With cameras rolling 24/7, this is a completely different ball game altogether.”

When asked about the constant conflicts and screaming matches typical of the house, Gullu makes it clear that he relies on charm and banter rather than unnecessary chaos. “Fights and shouting aren’t going to win anyone this show. I prefer pulling legs and playing lighthearted pranks for fun—that’s what makes for genuine, good content. I refuse to yell and scream just for the sake of grabbing airtime.”

Admitting to being relatively new to the Bigg Boss phenomenon, Gullu shares how he expects to fare under the watchful eye of the show’s iconic host. “I haven’t watched Bigg Boss before—just caught a few reels here and there. My plan is simple: show the viewers who I truly am in real life. That said, I’m fully prepared to get a few scoldings from Salman Sir! I have a few old habits that won’t change overnight, so I’m sure Sir will have a word or two for me about them.”
