Kajal Chauhan the talented actress who came into the limelight with shows like Molkki has come a long way in bagging newer opportunities as a performer. She is all set to play the lead in Star Bharat’s new show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai.
Kajal sees this as a big opportunity for herself. “I am learning a lot of nuances as I take up this role. I will not say that I am playing the lead in the show. I will rather say that I play a character, and being an artist, it is my responsibility to entertain audiences. Yes, my hard work of three years is bearing fruit now. I am feeling blessed to get this role. When you come from a small place and you groom yourself with time, it is a great feeling. I have never been free. I am grateful to God for giving me all the opportunities that I have got.”
Talking about Gaura, Kajal avers, “She is a simple girl coming from a poor family. She longs for love. She is very clean at heart. She does not even know what negativity means. She desires to have an affectionate mother-in-law who will love her a lot. From childhood, she has been very scared of ghosts. And how her mother-in-law turns out to be a ghost, is the shocking twist in Gaura’s life.”
“It is great to be working with Sushmita Ma’am. I am enjoying working with her. She is totally creative and I bond very well with her,” she adds.
On her personal expectations, Kajal explains, “I want to do well in the role. I want to focus on my work. We all as a team need to get the execution well so that the audience loves and enjoys our show.”
