Keerti Nagpure the talented actress is seen in a very interesting role, that of a dead wife and mother in Zee TV’s Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. Her character which is present in the form of a spirit, is probably the only person who can visualize that Radha and Mohan are destined to be together.

Keerti gets into a conversation with IWMBuzz.com on her role and why she took up this role that is very different from the usual ones.

Excerpts:

Why did you take up this role of Tulsi who is not alive in the main plot?

The story is about Mohan, Tulsi and the Trivedi family and the manner in which Radha comes into Mohan’s life. Tulsi’s character gave me a new opportunity to get into a new adventure. I have done shows as leads. I have been shown very positive till now. But in Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, I get to do many things for the first time. I am in the show, but I am not there too. There is fun shooting the scenes, as the spirit of Tulsi.

Will we get to see a flashback on why and how Tulsi died?

Yes, the flashback sequences keep coming. But as for the past that happened in Tulsi’s life, I am not aware of what is coming. There is a new drama coming up on a daily basis. But yes, there is a big flashback to come which is related to what exactly happened to Tulsi, who killed her and why she is like this as a ghost. So let us see what comes ahead.

Do you at times get upset that Tulsi is restricted to one single look?

It is not an upsetting feeling for sure. But I do feel weird. Let me tell you, I will never wear a red dress in my life after this. I am so tired of the colour red. At the same time, it feels good that I never have to change my dress and look. I am sorted for the whole day at shoot, as I don’t have to go through the pain of costume changes.

Tell us about how Tulsi visualises this love story of Radha and Mohan?

The love story of Radha and Mohan is going to be one cute one. It is a journey that needs to be watched and enjoyed. As of now, Radha does not love Mohan. Mohan too is not in love with Radha. It is to be seen how this thin line gets wiped off and the journey of love starts.

Does it hurt you when you don’t shoot with the cast?

Yes, I never shoot with the cast. I am never there in the masters. So it feels really bad to not shoot with the cast. I have had scenes with Shabir and the child Gungun. Thankfully, we spend time chilling on the set when we are not shooting. I have a good interaction with everyone on the set otherwise.

Would you be game for bold roles on the web?

Want to do web series in the future. I am not very comfortable with the bold sequences on the web. However, if there is any requirement in the show and if the character is good enough, I will give it a thought for sure.

What are the kind of projects you want to try your hand at?

As of now, I want to do something with which I can manage my ongoing show Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. I want to look at negative roles. I want to do something different. Want to get out of the positive roles and look beyond.

How is it working with Shabir and Neeharika?

Neeharika is a kid, she is an easygoing girl. Gungun, Neeharika and I play on the set. Shabir is a very big celebrity, but is so grounded. He is funny and entertaining. He makes the actor feel comfortable. We improvise a lot in our scenes.
