Isha Kaloya, who appeared as one of the lead characters, Amrit, in her Hindi television debut show on Dangal TV, Jhallee, produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment, which marked its last episode a few days back, opens up on her experience and the show going off air…
Says Isha, “They told me that this character has multiple shades, constant transformations, and many complex layers. I went through numerous auditions and mock shoots, and finally, I was selected for the role.
This was a big challenge for me, and I am truly happy that I was able to pull it off well. Every day on the set was incredible—each day felt fresh and new. Working alongside such experienced co-actors was something I absolutely loved.”
Isha, who started her career as an assistant director before transitioning to acting, has appeared in notable projects in Punjab like Heer Tey Tedhi Kheer (2024) where she played the lead role of Heer. Later, in the critically acclaimed Hindi film, Sardar Udham (2021), starring Vicky Kaushal, she had the role of a nurse.
Isha further says, “At just 22 years old, sharing the screen with big names was an unforgettable experience, and I have learned so much from it. We used to have a great time during lunch breaks, sharing stories, cracking jokes, and just having fun. I miss them all now, but those memories will stay with me forever.”
Jhallee, starring Pratham Kunwar, Apeksha Malviya and Isha Kaloya ended when it had a good rating and was one of the top-rated shows on Dangal TV.
