How has the journey been with the show so far?

It has been an amazing journey as I get to learn every day. I am playing a double role for the first time, hence it is exciting. I have been working with this channel and the producers for the past four years, so I have that amazing rapport with them. I feel blessed to be working with them.

You had any pressure with regards to the sequel?

I was very pressured. Season 1 was a hit. Whenever I step out, people used to come to me and recognize me. Hence, I was scared because we were launching the show again with a different storyline and the viewers had expectations. However, I feel this kind of pressure is good though.

How has your working experience been with your co-stars?

It has been amazing. I have been working with them for the past three years now. In the show, we have introduced a new family and they are also very warm and welcoming. They are great actors. I learn every day from them.

What has been the most challenging bit about playing a double role?

I am still getting into the skin of the character and I am in the learning process. It was very challenging for me to play a ghost. However, people have loved it, I am glad about it. I want to thank them and promise to entertain them. Since I have never played a mysterious character before, it is challenging as well as exciting for me as it’s rare for an artist to get such a role.

When you look back at your journey in the industry, how do you feel about it?

When I look back, I only have gratitude towards God, my family, friends and fans. I am happy with my journey so far. Having said that, it is a long way to go. I am yet to achieve much more. I am glad and content too. I don’t want to be someone who’s going all nuts. I am passionate about my work but equally passionate about my happiness. I feel that is more important.

How difficult is it to shoot during this pandemic?

It has been really difficult. Everyone is risking a lot. There are a lot of precautions and safety measures that we have to take. We follow all this. At the same time, I wanted to get back to work soon, so I am happy to be working.

Finally, your message to your fans…

I would like to thank them for all their love and support. We are here only because of you all. Keep showering your love and we promise to be honest with our work. We promise to entertain you more. Stay safe!
