Krishna Janmashtami transcends mere religious observance; it embodies a vibrant celebration of several profound themes. It symbolises the triumph of righteousness over the forces of evil, reminding us that integrity and virtue will always prevail. The festival also serves as a heartfelt tribute to the ideals of truth, love, and unwavering devotion. This occasion beautifully highlights the importance of family bonding and the rich tapestry of cultural values that unite us. On the special occasion, we at IWMBuzz.com have Abhishek Malik, the leading man of Zee TV’s Jamai No. 1, talking to us about the significance of the festival for him. The show is produced by Prateek Sharma’s Studio LSD.

He says about his happy memories from the festival, “Janmashtami brings back some of my fondest childhood memories. I once dressed up as little Krishna for a school function, and my mom still proudly shows those photos!”

He adds, saying, “Growing up in Delhi, the celebrations were more traditional, with temple visits, bhajans, and beautifully decorated jhankis. But after moving to Mumbai, I saw a whole new side to the festival. Here, the Dahi Handi celebrations are full of high energy, with human pyramids, music, and crowds cheering with so much excitement. Both cities celebrate differently, but the emotion behind it is the same. For me, Janmashtami is about joy, devotion, and finding moments of peace in the chaos of everyday life.”

Happy Janmashtami to all our readers!!
