Actress Apeksha Malviya, best known for her lead role as Noor in the Dangal TV show Jhallee, produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment, initially gained significant recognition for playing Piya Thakkar, the sister of the lead character, in the 2024 TV show Krishna Mohini. Her earlier television appearances include roles in Paak and Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein Season 2..
Jhallee, starring Apeksha, Pratham Kunwar and Isha Kaloya, was one of the top-rated shows on the channel when it went off air.
Talking about it, Apeksha told IWMBuzz.com, “Yes, our show went off-air, and that was definitely emotional. When you pour your heart into a character like Jhallee, and you see the audience connect with her the way you always dreamt they would, it becomes larger than just a role. I am grateful that she earned a space in viewers’ hearts. When the audience connected to her the way they did with memes, edits, DMs, messages, and so much love, it genuinely felt like a dream.”
Apeksha talks about the vacuum, saying, “I miss playing her. I miss her madness, her innocence, her fearless heart. She made me braver in real life. She made me softer, too. And I think every actor hopes for a character that leaves a mark on them and on the audience. I feel blessed that I got mine so early in my journey.”
As for what’s next, she says, “I am manifesting big things. I am reading new scripts, meeting people, and trying to be patient with the process. I don’t want to jump into something just for the sake of it. I want my next project to excite me the way Jhallee did. Fingers crossed, I will have something to share soon.”
All the very best!!
