We at IWMBuzz.com talked to the actor on his sudden disappearance from Instagram. In an exclusive conversation, he revealed the emotional and mental toll this unexpected incident has taken on him.
Speaking about the shock, he says, “Yes, suddenly my social media account got deactivated. I felt like I had become handicapped because so many things were connected to it—answering fans, posting reels, sharing updates. It all stopped at once.”
Rohitashv, who openly admits that he is not very tech-savvy, shared how dependent he has always been on his family for technical help. “The problem with me is that I am not a very technically sound person,” he explains. “I often depend on my daughters for technical things. Maybe Instagram sent me some warning or message on a post that I missed. I didn’t even get a chance to respond before they suddenly deactivated it.”
Calling the experience mentally exhausting, he adds, “Now I am really troubled. Earlier, I hardly used Instagram, but as my followers increased, my interest grew. And suddenly losing it felt like losing a part of my daily life. It becomes a kind of mental torture because social media makes you dependent.”
Rohitashv also addressed the negativity and sudden reactions people often show online. “These days, people react very quickly to anything you say,” he says. “Sometimes small things get blown out of proportion. Some people even start making complaints in bulk. I don’t understand who they are or why they do it.”
He assures fans that he is trying his best to resolve the issue. “My appeal is going on and conversations are happening with the Instagram team,” he shares. “I request my fans to wait for some time and pray that things get sorted. I really miss connecting with everyone.”
Ending on a hopeful note, he says, “I just want to come back. I want to explain things properly if I get that chance.”
