How does it feel to be a part of Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye?

It feels amazing, especially for the opportunity that I have got to play such a strong and determined character as Soumya. And I am glad that I am making a comeback with a relevant story and hope audiences connect with it. My character Soumya is a spirited personality who stays positive even in unfavorable situations. I had to go through 2-3 workshops before we started shooting as I wanted to polish my Hindi vocabulary and do full justice to my portrayal.

Do you find any similarities between you and your character Soumya?

Soumya is as ambitious as I am. I strongly believe in working even after marriage. Just like Soumya, I look forward to equality in a relationship. Demeanour and personality-wise also, Soumya is soft-spoken yet stands for what is right and I am just the same.

How challenging it is to play the role of Soumya?

I am a little more impatient as compared to the character of Soumya so it was quite a challenge for me to maintain the calmness of Soumya while shooting. Also, I am like an open book when it comes to my feelings. So while shooting certain intense scenes, I had to balance my expressions in a way that is complementing the character. Overall this character has helped me grow as an individual.

You are playing a role of a budding writer, are you fond of writing in real life?

Honestly, I am a very moody reader, to be more precise. But I’m a big fan of Gulzar Saab in real life just like my character Soumya, I enjoy reading poems whenever I get time. They are so meaningful and have so much depth to it that it lifts up my mood. Talking about my writing, I love the concept of keeping a diary and penning down my thoughts. I think I might start doing that more often.

How has your experience been working with co-star Vijayendra Kumeria?

Our equation is very good with each other as there is a lot of comfort and understanding between us. Vijayendra has always been fun to work with. We know each other for the last 6 years and have worked together for a long time. Our equation was loved by the audiences before and I hope the audiences will shower the same love over us even now.

Any final message for fans…

I would want audiences to watch Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye and shower us with all their blessings and love. I have always tried to entertain my viewers and we as a team will promise to not let the audience down and deliver the best through this beautiful show.
