Amrapali Gupta, currently seen in Colors show Bahu Begum, is rooting for her friend Vikas Gupta in Bigg Boss 13.

“I have not followed much of this season, for we are more hooked to Amazon Prime and Netflix than TV. I did watch a few episodes on Voot though.”

“I had followed Vikas, Shilpa Shinde and Hina Khan’s 2017 season most religiously. I really liked his mastermind tactics. Agreed, he plays shrewdly, but that is the format, you have to give entertainment.”

“With Vikas entering, I might follow the show more. I hope he wins this time around.” He had finished second runners up, with Shilpa taking the crown, followed by Hina, in Bigg Boss 11,” added Amrapali, who has been around TV for many years, doing shows such as Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam, Teen Bahuraaniyaan, Qubool Hai, etc.

Talking about the current season’s favourites, she says, “As of now, Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai seem to be the talk of the town. Shukla is stronger, internally and externally.”

“I also liked Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s stuff in the locked Film City House, but alas, she had to quit due to the spinal injury.” Interestingly, Vikas has entered as her replacement.

When asked about Aabra Ka Daabra, main hoon Paras Chhabra’s game, she quipped, “Sorry, the only thing I know about Paras is that he is an ex of Sara Khan. They had entered as wild cards in Nach Baliye 6, where I and hubby Yash Sinha were co-contestants.

Ask her if all the fighting in Bigg Boss is OK, she says, “Let’s face it, such aggression alone sells. Even if I enter, I will fight tooth and nail. I will even find people to face off with if there are none.”

“Has Bigg Boss drama not given fame to people like Pooja Mishra, Imam Siddiqui and KKR? Who knew them before Bigg Boss?” signs off Amrapali.
