Samthaan started his career as the first runner-up of Pantaloons Fresh Face 2012 and his door for the television industry opened. He then worked in various advertisements. He then worked on episodic series like Savdhaan India, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. His first lead role was Prithvi Sanyal in Channel V’s Best Friends Forever. After his debut in 2012, he worked in a 2013’s Marathi film “Pradosh” as Parth Laghate.
Parth then was the lead character in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan along with Niti Taylor which was a very popular youth show, portraying the various barriers in friendship and love. He gained immense popularity and also a huge female fan base for his amazing acting.
In 2016, he paved his way into Bollywood and worked in the movie “Googly Ho Gayi.” However, the film did not see the light of the day and has been cancelled.
Since 2018, parth has been portraying Anuraag Basu opposite Erica Fernandes in Star Plus’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He is playing a very good guy in this show. His acting in this show is greatly appreciated.
In 2015, Samthaan was placed 11th in Eastern Eye’s Top 50 Attractive Asian Men. But again it would be a crime if he wouldn’t, he’s got looks to die for.
He is the king of controversies though, there were several controversies in the past related to Parth.
Despite all the allegations, he has to prove to everyone that he is an amazing actor and doesn’t care about the world criticizes him. He is very versatile in his acting as well. Manik Malhotra from Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan and Anuraag Basu from Kasautii Zindagii Kay are two very different personalities but he has managed to ace the roles.
