Actress Samridhii Shukla who plays the lead role of Saavi in the Colors show Saavi Ki Savaari is happy with the progress that her show plot has seen in the last few months. Also, the feat of the show completing 100 episodes recently, has given her happiness.
Says Samridhii, “I enjoy being a part of Saavi Ki Savaari. It is a different concept. Seldom do we get a chance to play such an offbeat character. A girl who is independent and the breadwinner for her family, is so challenging to play. She is like the man of the house, and takes charge of her life. Saavi has no inhibition about riding a rickshaw. She is very confident and knows she can thrive well in her career. I am really grateful to be doing this role.”
“My heart was full recently when we cut two cakes after completing 100 episodes of Saavi Ki Savaari. It was a good moment to recollect our journey from the start. This is my first show, so having such a wonderful team around is a blessing. It is literally ‘love’ on sets, “says Samridhii.
“A lot of drama is always promised in Saavi Ki Savaari. Romance is what the viewers anticipate on our show. I can only say that we are going to make them happy,” the actress explains.
Talking about the journey, she avers, “It has been humbling for me. It has been all about growth. There has been a lot of hustle at work, as we work for almost 12 to 13 hours a day. It can get a little hectic, but the beautiful part is that if you want to hone your skills, you can do well in this industry. That is what I am focussing on.”
On the expectations, she says, “We will reach 1000 episodes. I believe that we will have a smooth sailing. We will do it with all the love and support from fans. We are sure that we will get more TRP. The aim is to become the #1 show on Colors.”
Like what I have learned from Saavi, “She does not let anything eat up her spirit. This is the learning I take from Saavi, her undying spirit. That’s beautiful.”
