Self-motivation was key for me in these months of lockdown – Mallika Singh

Mallika Singh is undoubtedly one of the most popular actreses in the TV industry. Her claim to fame has certainly been RadhaKrishn, starring opposite Sumedh Mudgalkar, and their on-screen chemistry of Radha Krishna is loved by one and all. Everything was going smooth for Mallika and the show until the Covid-19 pandemic happened and brought their lives to a halt. So, when we asked Mallika regarding how she dealt with the entire lockdown and how her thought process changed from time to time, she said and we quote,

“Well, it’s been a very difficult phase for all. These three months have been absolutely tiring and testing and not just me, everyone has been feeling the same way. This was a time when self-motivation became key for me during the entire lockdown. For me, personally, I have tried to personally pick up a few new hobbies. I enjoyed playing the guitar and I also enjoyed writing a bit. Overall, the thought process has certainly changed, and now, we are in a situation where all we want is for things to resume quickly to normalcy.”

The country went through a lockdown for a long time and due to this, all the industries were shut. It was only after Unlock 1.0 did things open up again. Shootings in the entertainment industry, too, have started once again and when we asked Mallika on safety while resuming shoot, she said:

“Well, the situation is such that no matter how much precautions we take, if it has to happen it will happen. From our end, we should always look forward to spread positivity and happiness. Of course, life can’t stand still and we have to move on. We are now at a time where each and every individual has to take care of himself and the people around them.”

Well, here’s wishing Mallika all the very best for everything that she does in the future. For more updates, stay tuned to
