Actor Sehban Azim, known for his roles in TV serials such as Dill Mill Gayye, Bepannaah, Tujhse Hai Raabta, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Humsafars, Thapki Pyar Ki, Spy Bahu, among others, is happy to be honouring his teachers from whom he has learnt a lot, on Teacher’s Day.

He says, “I have learned so much from my teachers all through my education. I will always be thankful to each one of them. I also believe that teaching can come to you at any time. It could be by a random fellow walking on the road or just by reading a random quote. But the biggest teachings that have come to me are through Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and to follow his way of life comes as sunnah to us followers.”

“It is to live my life with kindness and compassion towards all living beings, follow a path of justice and fairness, be honest and truthful and do as much charity as possible. I wouldn’t say that I have mastered all these teachings, but I do intend to practice them as much as I can. To err is human, to forgive divine,” he adds.

His tip for the younger generation on this day is to, “I would recommend them to read about Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) or just his teachings about life and learn as much as possible from his way of life. Otherwise, one is bound to get consumed and exhausted in the worldly ways of life.”

Finally, Sehban names his teachers, “Undoubtedly, all my teachers, my grandparents, my parents and Prophet Muhammad – they have all taught me the way of life.”

Happy Teacher’s Day to all!!
