Actor Ankit Raizada, who has featured in lead roles in Advocate Anjali Awasthi and Shehzaadi Hai Tu Dil Ki, talks about his health discipline and addresses the concerns related to health risk and his take on good health. On the occasion of World Health Day today, 7 April, Ankit has a breezy exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, where he shares his insights on one’s well-being.
Talking about the year’s biggest takeaway when it comes to his health, Ankit shares, “This year, my biggest health takeaway has been that fitness is not just about how you look, but how you feel mentally and emotionally. I’ve realised that mental clarity, consistency, and balance matter more than extreme routines.”
He goes on to address the health risk looming large in the lifestyle we live in. “In today’s lifestyle, I feel the biggest health risk is imbalance—whether it’s poor eating habits, lack of sleep, or constant stress. We’re always rushing, but not always taking care of ourselves.”
“The way to tackle this is by building sustainable habits—eating clean, staying active, prioritising sleep, and most importantly, giving your mind time to rest. Small daily actions matter more than occasional big efforts,” he says, speaking about ways to have clean health habits.
Speaking specifically about himself and his habits, he states, “For me, health is influenced by three major factors: what you eat, how you move, and how you think. If even one of these is ignored, the whole system gets affected.”
“As far as discipline is concerned, I believe it’s not about being perfect every day—it’s about showing up for yourself even on the days you don’t feel like it. That consistency is what truly builds strength, both physically and mentally,” he ends with a good note on self-discipline.
