Actor Ramndeep Singh, who has been a part of shows like Sampoorna, Sehajveer, and Udaariyaan, among others, the web series Jhungian Road, and music videos in Punjabi and Hindi, is currently seen as Sunny Brar in Colors TV’s Tu Juliet Jatt Di, which is produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment. He shared that he was instantly drawn to the show, and his character also influenced him a lot.

He said, “The script had a pulse. It had emotion, attitude, and humor—but most importantly, it had heart. My character’s emotional graph, especially his bond with his mother, hit me instantly. He’s the kind of guy who smiles for the world but melts when it comes to his mom. That depth gave me a solid reason to say yes.”

In fact, he relates to his character a lot. He said, “I related to him the moment I read him—his loyalty, his silence, his strength, and above all, his love for his mother. He’s someone who may not say much, but his actions speak loud.”

However, he shared that it is quite different from his earlier roles. He said, “Because this time I’m playing a character who stands at the emotional centre of the family. I’ve done intense and romantic leads before, but here I’m portraying a brother who becomes the backbone of the hero’s journey.”

Ramndeep even did a little preparation for his role. He said, “I refined my Punjabi tonality to keep it stylish yet rooted. I also worked on the physicality—someone who’s calm and composed but powerful when needed. And I spent time understanding the emotional rhythm of a son who can literally do anything for his mother.”

And he feels viewers will be surprised by the layers his character carries. He said, “He looks simple on the surface—but there’s fire, loyalty, and deep emotion inside him. Especially when it comes to his mom, he can cross any limit. And those moments are going to hit hard.”

He also connected with the Punjabi culture that has been portrayed with utmost authenticity in the show. He said, “The show captures the real flavour of Punjabi families—the warmth, the humour, the loud love, and the silent respect. And the way it highlights the mother-son bond felt truly special. That’s pure Punjabi heart.”

For Ramndeep, Tu Juliet Jatt Di stands out from the current shows on TV. He said, “It’s not just another romance… It’s a world—full of emotions, culture, brotherhood, and strong family connections. The show has vibe, attitude, and a fresh contrast between two families. That combination is rare on TV today.”

Best of luck!!
