Shaloo Jindal is one of the wealthiest Dilli Darlings, with an obsession for having everything made out of one stone – so several elements of her home are carved out of a singular stone! Her quirky ways and endearing manner of speaking warms everyone to her immediately. She is extremely experimentative in terms of what she wears and is a classic case of dressing very sanskaari within the four walls of her mansion but turning into the ultimate glamazon as she steps out to party.

‘Dilli Darlings’ are the well-heeled, well-connected socialites of Delhi, intensely passionate, unapologetically real, effortlessly stylish, with the swag to set trends in one of India’s most vibrant cities.

Commenting on the Zee TV show Dilli Darlings, participant Shaloo Jindal shares, “I was very excited about it, and it was a golden opportunity; hence I grabbed it. I want to define the new era of homemakers. If a lady stays in the house, then it doesn’t mean that she only belongs to those four walls of the home. This a reality show and nothing is scripted. There is a notion that people who are rich will be evil and manipulative and I want to tell all that it is not the case. We are like normal people.”

Shaloo believes her family’s support was a driving force for her. she adds, “I only opted for this show when my husband and children approved for it. They supported me and have been with me always. Now, my son refers to me as Dilli Darling. He says ‘Please get me a mango shake, Dilli Darling’. My brother who is a cancer survivor wanted to be a part of the show and share his struggle story while in his difficult times. There was uneasiness initially, when there were cameras all around. However, the team made us very conformable. Now, after the shoot is completed, we are missing the camera.”

Finally, she requests the audience to watch the show and says, “It is a P3 reality show. A homemaker should not think that she is confined in her house only. We can do anything. We are women, we are perfect and we are confident.”
