Deepika Singh, the lead of Colors TV and Panorama Entertainment’s Mangal Lakshmi, had a significantly impactful year in 2025, as she bagged the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards for Best Actress for her portrayal of Mangal. Calling it a memorable year for herself, Deepika Singh gets into an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com and talks at length about the year gone by and the New Year.

Summing up the year 2025, Deepika states, “2025 has been a year with a lot of lessons, wisdom and resilience.” Talking about the joyous memory of the year gone by, she says, “It has to be the moment when I won the Dadasahes Phalke Award.”

She further says, “This was the year I finished reading the book Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda. This book changed my personality and had a positive impact on my personality.”

The most accomplished momentof 2025 was her sister’s wedding for Deepika. “My sister’s wedding happened in November this year. I was relieved and happy to manage the wedding between my shoot schedules. As an elder sister, I am glad that I handled all the responsibilities of the wedding well.”

Speaking about the routines that helped her, she says, “My workout helped me a lot. I followed all my routines throughout the year. As for the routine I want to ditch, I want to limit my usage of social media for putting up reels. I want to surf the internet only once or twice a week.”

As for the skills to acquire, Deepika is determined towards achieving inner peace. “I want to have the stillness of the mind and soul. For that, I need to be silent whenever I can. I want to acquire the skill of silence in mind, body and soul.”

As for the wish for the New Year, she says, “I want a lot of success for Mangal Lakshmi. I want to cut cakes for every 100 episodes.”
