She highlights the lack of opportunities and mentions that other actresses at her age are getting roles, but she isn’t.

Anita, in the conversation, revealed that she still goes for the audition, upon which Siddharth asked her reaction to the questions asked about her previous work. The actress revealed that she gets asked what she has done before, upon which, during her first audition in recent years, she gave the audition and said that she had been working before all those auditioning were even born.

However, when asked about the pain she is suffering from right now with lack of work opportunities, Anita said that she still goes for the audition, but she isn’t getting any work, and the major reason is that she is over exposed. The actress criticized this baseless rejection reason, sharing she knows many actors who are seen in every other series or project, so they are not over exposed.

Adding to her statement, Anita confessed that this fact has broken her to the point that it has brought her to the extent of self-destruction. The actress even mentioned how just a few days ago, she was questioning her existence.

The actress further broke down that she questions her worth, highlighting she has given so much to her craft, so now who is to be blamed, whether the industry or there are some shortcomings in her.

In frustration, Anita shared that she suffers from self-doubt and questions her worth, highlighting that she is aged, but she isn’t asking to be cast as a 12-year-old; she wants to get cast as an older person. She also added that if Meryl Streep can get a role at 76, why can’t she at 72, mentioning that other actresses of her age are getting work, but she isn’t, and for all these questions, she just has one answer: ‘I don’t know’.
