OG Bhabiji aka Shilpa Shinde returned to the screens, reprising her role in & TV’s popular show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai as Angoori Bhabhi with season 2.0. And in an interview with a media house, the actress reacted to Shubhangi Atre, who portrayed the role of Angoori Bhabhi for 10 long years after she exited in the beginning.
In a recent interview, when it was shared that Shubhangi Atre called her a good actress and praised her, Shilpa Shinde reacted, “She said the right thing, ‘Sahi Pakde Hai’, she knows it.
However reacting to what she thinks about Shubhangi Atre as an actress, Shilpa shared, “See as an actor I had said it earlier when controversies were going on so very frankly she has done a good work and she is a good actress but ‘comedy sabke bas ki baat nhi hai’ and on top of that to copy someone that is very difficult, there is pressure.”
Shilpa further explains, “See, today I think how about copying any actress, so copy is copy, no matter how good the acting I do. So if that thing had been different, she must have been more popular than me, if she had been different, but to copy someone, it becomes difficult, it goes on a different tangent.”
She concluded, emphasizing that she got love for her portrayal and sustained the show for ten years, so it was the best thing for her.
