Yes, in a zone where many TV shows fail to sustain in numbers and go off air in just few months of launch, Choti Sarrdaarni has turned the tables in its favour and has appealed to the audience of all ages with its soulfully touching story.
The show which initially saw the love story of Meher (Nimrit Kaur) and Manav (Hitesh Bhardwaj), took to its next phase of story telling with the entry of Sarabjit (Avinesh Rekhi) as Meher’s husband.
The chemistry between Sarab and Meher has won hearts and the cuteness quotient of the show Param Putthar (Kevina Tak) has succeeded in getting the audience back to the show everyday.
The result of all the hard work is that Choti Sarrdaarni (in this week’s BARC ratings) stands tall as the #1 show across GECs.
We at IWMBuzz.com spoke to the leads of the show, Nimrit Kaur and Avinesh Rekhi who expressed their happiness at this achievement.
Says Nimrit aka Meher, “I feel like the entire team’s efforts have been constant throughout. It’s the honesty of every character that has translated beautifully on screen.
