Colors TV’s latest captive reality show, The 50, produced by Banijay Asia, has been generating massive buzz among viewers. Streaming on JioHotstar and airing on Colors TV, the show features 50 celebrities competing over 26 days in intense challenges that test their physical, mental, and emotional strength. What is The 50 about?
The 50 is a captive reality show based on a well-known international format. In the show, 50 contestants from different fields compete in physical, mental, and emotional challenges over 26 days. Every task matters, and losing can put them at risk of eviction.
The show is led by a game master called The Lion, who oversees all challenges. He is supported by the Lion’s army, which includes 2 foxes, 2 dogs, and 2 rabbits, who constantly keep an eye on the contestants. The interesting twist? There are almost no fixed rules, and even the few that exist can change at any time.
The 50 Palace
Contestants will live in a grand palace in Malad, Mumbai, spread over 10,000 sq. ft. It has 6 bedrooms and 3 gaming arenas, but no kitchen, as food will be provided at all times. The gaming arenas are where all the challenges take place. Those who lose a task must remain in the unsafe zone until their future in the game is decided. The palace is monitored by 110 cameras, capturing every moment.

Colors TV’s ‘The 50’ Reality Show: Premiere Date, Time & Where to Watch
The 50 is set to premiere on February 1. The reality show will stream from Monday to Sunday at 9:00 PM on JioHotstar, while the television broadcast will air on Colors TV at 10:30 PM.
