Actress Shagun Sharma, who is currently appearing in the Star Plus show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, is ruling hearts as Pari. Viewers are loving her character and acting skills. Also, the actress expressed her gratitude for getting a chance to be a part of such a big show. Though the actress got selected for this show, did you know she missed a big opportunity back in time when she auditioned for Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar twice, which is roaring at the box office now.
Shagun recently enjoyed watching the new film Dhurandhar and also called it a must-watch, saying, “Dhurandhar is a reminder of the heroes we never see. A raw, powerful tribute to the ones who protect us in silence. A must-watch.”
However, in the next story, the actress shared a surprising detail that she auditioned for a role in Dhurandhar twice but couldn’t get it. Shagun shared, “Yesterday I saw Dhurandhar, and everything was going well, the movie was going well, and after that, in one particular scene, without giving any spoiler, when that girl closes the door, I was hit with the fact that I had auditioned for this part.”
Shagun further added, “I literally twice when I used to shoot Chahatein, that time I twice for this movie, for this part auditioned and was sad for a second that it did not work out because I remember they were saying it’s a big film, and there will be parts of this film with Ranveer Singh and all that, but… I didn’t recollect it while watching the film until that door scene arrived because in the audition, the same scene was there, so I felt very bad. Anyway, it was a good film.”
