Dilip Joshi, famously known as Jethalal, needs no introduction. He is one of the most favorite comic characters on Indian television from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Over the years, the actor has entertained the audience; however, the latest developments have upset fans. If reports are to be believed, Dilip Joshi’s role in Asit Kumar Modi’s comedy sitcom will be reduced.
The reports claim that the show’s makers are planning to reduce Jethalal’s scenes and shift the focus to the recently introduced Rajasthani family. This is because the new family, which was introduced in Golkul Township recently, consisting of four members, a husband, a wife, and their two children, has received a good response from the audience, where Kuldeep Got plays Ratna Singh Binjola and Dharati Bhatt as his wife Roopa. Viewers are reportedly enjoying the storyline centered on the family, which leads to the big decision.
An official confirmation or final decision is yet to be made by the makers.
