Ayush Shrivastava, who was last seen in the role of a dashing cop in Gul Khan’s supernatural thriller on Star Plus, Jaadu Teri Nazar, has bagged a meaty role in Zee TV‘s upcoming show, Jagadhatri. Rahul Tewary Productions produces the show, as we know, and has Sonakshi Batra and Farman Haider in the lead roles.
The narrative of Jagadhatri centres around a female protagonist who navigates a dual existence. To her family, Jagadhatri presents herself as a modest, unassuming, and at times vulnerable individual, subjected to mistreatment by her stepmother and stepsister. However, she maintains a secret identity as a highly skilled undercover intelligence officer within the crime branch. The series explores her complex journey of balancing the illusion of a compliant domestic life with the reality of her robust and action-driven professional endeavours.
IWMBuzz.com were the first to report exclusively about Farman Haider and Sonakshi Batra playing the leads in Jagadhatri. We also wrote about Vishavpreet Kaur, Mansi Jain, Imran Khan and Vinit Kakar playing crucial roles. If you haven’t read it, you can check it here.

We now hear of Ayush playing a contrasting role to that of the cop that he played in Jaadu Teri Nazar.
As per a reliable source, “Ayush will play the anti-hero in Jagadhatri. The role will be something new to the TV audiences.”
We buzzed Ayush but did not get through to him.
We reached out to the Producer and channel spokesperson but did not get a response till we filed the story.
