Shiv Puran the big-budget mythological presentation being produced by Zee Studios for &TV will be the next big launch on the channel. Shiv Puran will be helmed creatively by Anirudh Pathak who will be the Showrunner.
We at IWMBuzz.com had exclusively broken the news that popular actor Siddharth Arora will play the role of Lord Shiv in the show (IWMBuzz. We also wrote about child actor Aan Tiwari playing the young Shiv.
Now we have gotten to know of popular actor Danish Akhtar being roped in for the show. Danish Akhtar has already bagged a prized negative role in the Hindi remake of the popular South film Vikram Vedha, along with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan.
As per a reliable source, “Danish will play the role of Shiva’s biggest follower, Nandi in Shiv Puran.”
Danish Akhtar is known for his work in Hindi TV in shows Paramavatar Shri Krishna, Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishnodevi, Shrimad Bhagavad, Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein etc.
We buzzed the actor but did not get through to him.
