Seasoned actress Gurdeep Kohli, who was last seen in the role of Smita Zaveri in Zee TV and Balaji Telefilms’ Kumkum Bhagya, is now back on Zee TV with a new show. Yes, she has been brought on board the upcoming show Lakshmi Niwas, which is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms.
As we know, Lakshmi Niwas highlights the dreams, struggles, and values that unite families, particularly the universal aspiration of homeownership. The story centres around Lakshmi and Srinivas, a couple who have spent 35 years living in a rented house while pursuing two goals dear to them: building a home of their own and ensuring a bright future for their daughters. Just as they begin to take steps toward achieving their dreams, life takes unexpected turns that test the strength of their bond and the stability of their family.

Recently, there was news of popular actor Gashmeer Mahajan being brought on board the show in a vital role.
Now we hear of Gurdeep Kohli playing an interesting role in the show. Gurdeep has earlier featured in Sony SAB’s Vanshaj.
We buzzed Gurdeep, and she confirmed, saying, “Yes, I am playing a cameo in Lakshmi Niwas.”
We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get a response till we filed the story.
Lakshmi Niwas will be a much-anticipated launch on Zee TV, considering that Zee TV has had successful launches this year with Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan and Jagadhatri.
