Zee TV‘s popular show Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment, will see a major development in the show. Actress Srishti Jain, who essays the role of Sahana is being replaced. There have been media reports of her getting married, and that possibly being the reason for her exit from the show.
Now, we at IWMBuzz.com hear exclusively that it is Marathi actress Namrata Pradhan who has been roped in to play Sahana. Yes, Namrata has been a part of Marathi TV and films. She featured in the show Chatriwaali, which was a hit. She made her debut in Marathi cinema with Mrs Deshmukh.
Well, there have been media reports of Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega actress Rashmi Gupta playing the part after the exit of Srishti.
But our credible source tells us, “Namrata Pradhan has been locked and is presently in Chandigarh after being finalised for the role. She is a promising actress and the best choice for Sahana.”
With Namrata all set to start her innings as Sahana in the show, we will see her get into the skin of the character. As we know, Sahana is the elder sister of Sneha and the eldest daughter of Ganga Mai. She is married to Murli.
We buzzed the Producer and the channel spokesperson, but did not get a response till we filed the story.
Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan is doing well on the ratings chart, being consistently seen as one of the top-rated shows across GECs.
