Colors TV show Seher Hone Ko Hai has been in the headlines lately. Actress Rishita Kothari, who was the female lead, exited the show, and now Bhavika Sharma has replaced her as Seher alongside Parth Samthaan in the lead role of Mahid. With the female lead replacement, the show also saw a seven-year leap, starting with a new chapter. In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, Parth and Bhavika opened up on the post-leap details.
When asked to describe the new Seher, Parth said, “I would say this new Seher is more mature, more composed, but the craziness or your core nature that stays the same.” He emphasized that Seher’s character is now a doctor and things have changed, but it will be interesting to see what happens after seven years, when Seher and Mahid meet, how they come back together, chemistry and everything, and personally, he is feeling fresh and that he is working on a new show.
Bhavika, on her entry in the show midway post-leap, shared that she wished the TRP would boom. Opening up on her character, the actress shared, “I’m very excited as it’s a fresh and good show, and I haven’t played a character like Seher. Even the language is different, and so she is very excited.”
When asked her about the challenges to join a show post leap so whether she feels pressured, Bhavika said, “I actually enjoy a lot the pressure that I have to do even more better, I have to give my 200 percent but then obviously that is in audience’s hand, but this too is a beautiful show and it is a fresh chapter and now I have become a doctor earlier I was a cop.”
When asked about his moody and intense character, Parth shared that Mahid’s character does affect him in personal life, like some scenes make him emotional. Recalling a scene, the actor mentioned that a character’s demise in the show made him remember his father and those things.
