Young actress Saachi Tiwari, who played the lead in Dangal TV’s Prem Leela, is presently in talks and is most likely to be roped in as the female lead in Sony SAB’s new comedy-drama show, Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain. Produced by Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik’s Inspire Films, the team had been in search of the female lead for some time now.
As we know, Khushi Dubey was earlier locked to play the female lead. However, since the show saw a delay in its launch, Khushi had dropped out of the project, after which the makers had been in search of an apt face opposite Raj Anadkat, who plays Pawan, the protagonist in the show.
Now, we hear that Saachi Tiwari is most likely to bag the role, with the channel and makers being keen to lock her.
As we know, Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain revolves around five free-spirited siblings whose lives are completely upended after the sudden, tragic demise of their parents. The eldest brother, Pawan Parik (played by Raj Anadkat), is forced to grow up overnight. He undergoes a sudden transformation from a carefree, ambitious youth into the default legal guardian and patriarch for his four younger siblings.
