TV actress Priyamvada Kant returned to the TV screens in an all-new and unexpected avatar of a ghost, but not the one who scares, but there is more to her character – she is bubbly, emotional, and fun as Latika in the new &TV show Gharwali Pedwali produced by Peninsula Pictures. In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, the actress opened up about her character and more.

In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, Priyamvada revealed that her new show, Gharwali Pedwali, is interesting because people rarely see horror-comedy, and this one is just a good shot. The actress, talking about her look, shared that it takes almost an hour to get ready, as it’s a period look. She wears the bridal lehenga every day with accessories, and it becomes frustrating sometimes to work with so much weight, plus she shoots on a harness sometimes.

Opening up her new character and what she brings to the table this time, Priyamvada said, “This is a very interesting character because ghosts are usually very serious, angered, and dangerous, but this one is very cute, lovable, and mischievous, and I think many people will relate and enjoy very much.”

“Like it’s the supernatural era, people are liking supernatural drama to see, so this is my first supernatural character and comedy. I like to do so when I got the offer; I couldn’t say no, and I wanted to do it.
