Actor Shantanu Monga, who is presently seen in Dangal TV’s show Bade Ghar Ki Chhoti Bahu, will now appear in the Sun Neo supernatural fantasy show Divya Prem: Pyaar aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, produced by Peninsula Pictures. Bade Ghar Ki Chhoti Bahu, as reported by media, will go off air soon.
As we know, Divya Prem, the show on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, is dealing with the track around a magical character, Chinli, who comes in as a kite-seller selling Til Ke Laddoos, but will have a mission of trapping kids in his master plan.
The coming track will see the entry of actor Shantanu Monga into the plot. He will have the identity of being today’s master resource, AI, which is used by one and all to seek answers to their queries. The character will have a negative shade to portray.
We buzzed Shantanu but did not get through to him.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get a response till we filed the story.
The show evolves around the mystical journey of its lead characters, Divya and Prem, as they navigate an ancient prophecy and battle the dark forces of the powerful Karn Mohini. The story recently took an eight-year leap, post which we saw the entry of actress Riddhiema Tiwari in the role of Rakshasi. Child actor Harithi Joshi also entered the show, as Divya’s daughter in the post-leap track, Tara. The show has Megha Ray and Suraj Pratap Singh playing the lead roles, with Kavita Banerjee seen as Karn Mohini.
