Transgender actress Shubhi Sharma will now stage her entry in Zee TV‘s show Saru, produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. Shubhi has featured in shows like Dhruv Tara Samay Sadi Se Pare, Prem Leela etc. She will now enter Saru, to play the role of a God Woman.
As per a reliable source, “Shubhi will play a God Woman character, who will come to be the new driving force in the life of Saru. She will ultimately show Saru the path to resolve her problems and find a solution to her struggles.”
The recent episodes of Saru have seen engaging drama, with Kamini’s conspiracy against Saru (Mohak Matkar). She hired a goon to stab Saru. Saru got attacked by a masked man on the road. And as the goon found Saru alone, they attacked her. We also saw Saru’s arrest, charged with the kidnapping, while Anika got happy.
We buzzed Shubhi, but did not get through to her.
We reached out to the spokesperson at Zee TV but did not get a response till we filed the story.
Saru narrates the story of a village girl who is ambitious and wants to grow in life to achieve her goals. Though she comes to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams, Anika becomes a roadblock in her path, and on her journey, she meets Ved, her love interest, making the story of dreams and ambitions even more interesting. The show casts Shagun Pandey and Mohak Matkar as leads.
