Senior actress Uma Basu, who has featured in TV shows Pinjra Khubsurti Ka, Doree, Suman Indori, etc, will join the cast of Producer Saurabh Tewari’s upcoming show for Colors TV. Reportedly titled Mera Sindoor, it will have Ankit Gupta and Anchal Sahu playing the leads. Presently, the unit is shooting on an outdoor schedule in Jabalpur.
A love story unfolds between an angsty young man and a down-to-earth girl in the vibrant backdrop of Bihar. The narrative centres around the lawless environment that characterises the region. The male protagonist, a rebellious lawbreaker, contrasts sharply with the female lead, a dedicated lawyer who staunchly upholds her values and beliefs. The conflict and chemistry that arise from their opposing personalities will form the heart of this captivating story.
