The show stars Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla in the leading pair, and the duo, in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz during the Iftar party, shared insights into the celebrations, hectic work, and more.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, journalist Sweta Gupta, Rohit Purohit, and Samridhii Shukla wished fans for Eid 2026 and Navarsh/Gudi Padwa/Ugadi however, when asked about their outfits for the Iftar party, which was organised by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Productions, where the starcast and crew members of Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai gathered for celebration.
Rohit shared that his stylist picked the black suit styled sherwani for him, while Samridhii revealed it was her own clothes, revealing she luckily found it in her wardrobe, and it is also flowy and comfortable.
Talking about the excitement for the Iftar Party, Samridhii shared she was asking about the party just a couple of days ago, which means she likes such events, as everyone’s energy is different, everyone talks about different things, and it also gives a chance to meet everyone, so it is overall a great thing.
While Samridhii highlighted she also gets a chance to talk to the media houses because she has heard many complaints that she doesn’t give time and is upset but she cleared that in personal life she is like this and also she doesn’t get time due to hectic work and she forgets to reply to messages and she is a big careless but personally she is very normal and good to talk to.
On the other hand, Rohit shared that Iftar and other celebrations become refreshing as he gets a chance to be himself, no work, no dialogues, and no pressure. Also, he can enjoy sweets, which he rarely does in real life or any other time. And overall, called it a fun time.
