The return of Harshad Chopda to the telly screens is another big development that has happened in the recent past!! After an enormously big gap, Harshad is now back in a role that redefines a long-running show!! He has entered as the new lead in Rajan Shahi’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which has taken a big generation leap. Entering a show that has seen the growth of the Jodi Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi, should have been a tough decision for Harshad to make!! But oh well, the ratings are again on the rise with the advent of the fresh cast and plot!!

Yes, the big development that has happened recently on television is the return of Vivian Dsena with the show on Colors, Sirf Tum. What charms his fans all the more is that he is back to doing what he is best at, that is as the romantic lead. His chemistry in the show with Eisha Singh is getting rave reviews. Vivian who was last seen in Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki had exited the show in the year 2019. Must say, a good role on TV to get back after a gap of 2 years!!
Rubina Dilaik has been a huge sensation on Television with her role of the transgender in Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. The show and the plot broke all the stereotype concepts that prevailed on television then, and the complex plot was well-accepted by the viewers. Playing a transgender was a dream role for Rubina, and she thrived in it. However, she exited the show in 2020 when the concept went in for a generation leap. Her character of Saumya was dearly missed in the show. Public demand brought her back just before the show took to its amazing climax. It was an exciting new phase for the character in the show. Randeep Rai, the young and talented actor who swept his fans from under their feet with his swashbuckling image of a teenager in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai on Sony TV, took a real good time to get back on screen!! While his fans were waiting with bated breath from 2019, to see his return, the surprising news came about this year. Not only did Randeep sign up for the OTT project Pavitra Rishta 2.0 in a brief role, but he also made his amazing comeback on TV with Colors’ Balika Vadhu 2. This one is a biggie for sure, as he is entertaining his fans in the role of Anand, and is cast opposite Shivangi Joshi.
Nakuul Mehta, the immensely talented actor made Hindi TV proud with the portrayal of Shivaay Singh Oberoi in the cult Star Plus show Ishqbaaaz. He was not to be seen from 2017, and this year saw his pick up the best that was on offer. He returned as the mature lover in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, the Sony TV show. He has been charming hearts in this enchanting lead role.
Cezanne Khan, who rose to fame years back as the flamboyant lover in Kasautii Zindagii Kay was literally away from the limelight for the longest period. His comeback came as a pleasant surprise to many!! And the role he returned with was indeed a challenging one, as he replaced Vivian Dsena in the lead role of Harman Singh in Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki on Colors. Cezanne, we must say, had a good run, and was also seen romancing Rubina Dilaik in the show. They struck good chemistry together!!
Disha Parmar, the beautiful and talented actress who rose to great heights with her lead portrayal in shows Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara was missed onscreen from the time the show Woh Apna Sa ended. Her comeback with Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, that too in a del-glam role is being loved by her fans.
Pooja Gor, the face that enthralled one and all in the central role of Pratigya in Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya was missing from television action for a long time. Last seen in the medical show, Ek Nayi Ummeed – Roshni in the year 2015, she was dearly missed. However, Pooja kept herself busy with OTT projects with Shitty Ideas Trending and The Verdict – State Vs Nanavati. But her big return to TV happened with Season 2 of her own yesteryear show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya which is airing on Star Bharat. It was a delight to have her back on the small screens!!
Jay Soni, the blue-eyed boy of television was definitely missed for a long time!! Known to one and all as the cute boy next door Ishaan Kashyap of Sasural Genda Phool, Jay took up some brief projects on TV like Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Gudiya Hamari Sabhi Pe Bhari. However, he is now back as the same Ishaan Kashyap on TV in Sasural Genda Phool Season 2 on Star Bharat. His fans have a lot to rejoice at the moment!!
Arhaan Behll, popularly known as Krishna Sajjan Singh of Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya was last seen in 2019 in the show Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara. Though he was seen in a brief role in Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka, it had to be Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2 that enticed him for a big comeback on TV. He was back this year as Krishna Sajjan Singh, and his evergreen chemistry with Pooja Gor was loved again.
