Himanshu Singh, a well-known social media influencer who makes videos related to acting, modeling, etc., and is an actor himself, shared a recent incident where he saw the inhuman behaviour with the junior artists, slamming those who behave like this. And reacting to his acknowledgement, popular TV actor Abhinav Shukla reacted. Take a look below.
On January 30, 2026, actor Himanshu shared a video on his Instagram sharing his experience from the recent shoot on the sets. The actor shared that the television and film industry has turned people inhuman, and as an example, he just saw it last night. He further added that as he came early on the sets, he went to sit with the director. That’s when the AD (Assistant Director) came in and asked the director if they needed junior artists in the upcoming sequence.
And as the director said something, the AD said to the director to let it be as ugly as junior artists have come, and the junior artists were just behind. But what was shocking was that he noticed that the AD had the clue about junior artists being there, and he still said those things, highlighting the inhuman behaviour.
Himanshu emphasized that the entertainment industry is turning humans into inhumans. He raised his voice, how they discriminate against the junior artists, and that too in front of them, wondering what they would be going through. He said clearly that the AD would not have addressed them like this, calling out the racism and inequality.
Then Himanshu went on to mention Anurag Kashyap, who has made good films and gave the example of Nawazuddin, highlighting that he doesn’t look fair or fit into the personality trait, but his art speaks. He also emphasized how casting requirements often come like this, where they want a rich-looking fair man, asking if the richest man in the country looks fair.
Reacting to this concern, well-known names like actor Abhinav Shukla and others reacted. Abhinav Shukla said, “You haven’t sat with casting dept when they are shortlisting from hundreds of audition! That is Crazy.”

Aditya Kripalani commented, “Aesthetic sense of a person who has only seen life one way. Even aesthetics are about where you were born and what you saw as attractive. That’s all. It’s not universal. At all.”

Dancer and actor Raghav Juyal shared a clapping emoji.
