Karan Wahi, recently seen on the Colors TV reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, sat down for an honest interview with Siddharth Kannan. During the chat, he opened up about quitting TV, his bond with Farhana Bhatt, his past relationship with Bigg Boss 20 alum Uditi Singh, marriage plans, wanting kids, and more.

Quitting TV And 1st Film

Looking back at his meteoric rise after teen drama Remix and Dil Mil Gayi, Karan shared that he was flooded with lucrative offers at the peak of his television career. However, desiring time to travel and live life on his own terms, he voluntarily stepped away from the small screen.

After the break, he returned and signed four films. However, one film, after reading and one year into production, was shelved. He said he rose to fame easily, but things got difficult for him after that.

Speaking further, Karan shared that he was in a difficult phase after his UTV film didn’t release. He opened up about the harsh reality of the transition: after shooting a film that ultimately never hit the theatres, he practically disappeared from the Hindi film circuit. When he tried to pivot back, television producers weren’t welcoming, and they occasionally mocked him with remarks like, “Ho gaya filme kar ke.”

He spent two silent years waiting for the right project before realizing he needed to re-evaluate his path. While refusing to label that difficult phase as clinical depression, he admitted it was a mentally exhausting grind.

Bonds With Jennifer Winget

Speaking on his bond with Jennifer, Karan shared they were good friends from Dill Mill Gayee, but their friendship became strong after that. He shared that he feels there is some karmic energy, a soul connection with her; they are two very different people, but they still share a great bond.

Adding further, Karan revealed that while he has worked with both Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover, he is closer to Jennifer.

Advice To Rithvik Dhanjani And Asha Negi

Sharing the advice he gave Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi, Karan, who is best friends with both, shared the practical advice he offered them, choosing to step back and let them navigate their personal lives while encouraging them to embrace and explore their individual singlehood.

Clearing The Air On Farrhana Bhatt, Shagun Sharma, And Dating Rumors

Addressing the relationship rumors with Farhana Bhatt, Karan denied it, stating they are just friends. Further breaking his silence on the scripted chemistry in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, he expressed frustration that internet audiences misinterpret casual on-screen chemistry or camaraderie on reality shows as manufactured relationship narratives. When fans realize the rumors aren’t true, they often flip and label celebrities “fake.” He also denied claims about his relationship with Shagun Sharma, saying he wouldn’t hide if he were in a relationship.

Addressing Uditi Singh’s Remarks On Bigg Boss 20

Karan also talked about his past relationship with Bigg Boss 20 contestant Uditi Singh and the statements she made about him inside the house.

Karan shared that when he began dating Uditi, he was in his early 30s (around 33–34) and genuinely entered the relationship with the intention of taking it toward marriage. They spent extended time together during the pandemic and discussed a future, though no concrete wedding dates were ever finalized.

Reflecting on why they parted ways, Karan pointed squarely to a lack of compatibility. He questioned why his name and past relationship were brought up inside the Bigg Boss house years later, especially when they parted ways long ago, and she has since moved forward. Out of respect for both her and his own mental peace, he chose not to engage in a public point-by-point rebuttal of her remarks.

On Marriage Plans and Wanting Kids

Opening up on marriage plans and wanting kids, Karan shared that he does want to have kids, as he is very good with kids. However, on marriage, he admitted that he does want to get married, but he doesn’t know when.
