Saii Ranade Sane roped in for Sony TV's Tara From Satara

Saii Ranade Sane joins the cast of Sony TV's Tara From Satara

Popular Marathi actress Saii Ranade Sane, who was recently seen in Colors show Laado 2 – Veerpur Ki Mardaani, has bagged a new show. Saii is known for her body of work includes Marathi shows Kasturi, Vahinisaheb, Kulavadhu.

IWMBuzz.com has exclusively learnt that Saii has been roped in for Sony Entertainment Television’s latest offering Tara From Satara, which has a completely different story to tell. Tara from Satara is the story of Tara and her journey from being an aimless girl to finding a purpose in life.

Actress Roshni Walia, who is known for her portrayal in Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap will play the lead of the show. Roshni who is a style icon herself sets the bar very high when it comes to setting trends has always been a social media favourite for her diva looks but in the show Tara from Satara, she plays a simple small town girl. Roshni being a Bombay girl has never witnessed the lifestyle of a small town and thus had to work hard to get her body-language right. The girl even made several visits to Satara and conversed with the girls of her age there to get a better understanding of what her character demands from her. The actress was also seen working hard on her dance moves and her gestures.

Along with Saii Ranade Sane and Roshni Walia, Upendra Limaye is also part of the show.

We reached out to the actress but she remained unavailable for comment.

We buzzed the channel spokesperson but did not hear from them.

Later Saii confirmed the news to us saying, “I am playing Tara’s chachi’s character. I am happy to be part of Sony’s team. It’s too early to talk about my character’s shade. But I would say that I am blessed with this character and would give my 100%.”
