Shagun Sharma needs no introduction. The gorgeous actress, with her stint as Pari Virani in Star Plus’s iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, generated buzz. Her transformation from a negative character to a positive one—she ruled hearts. With her marriage to Ajay, her track ended on the show; however, whether she was still part of the show was confirmed. And today, the actress said goodbye to the show, confirming her permanent exit.
On July 15, Shagun shared a series of photos from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 sets, including some cute photos with her on-screen husband, Nirvaan Anand. However, alongside the bunch of beautiful memories, the actress penned a big, heartfelt note saying, “my heart is full,” and that her character, Pari, “will always be a part of me.”
Shagun said, “As I say goodbye to Pari Virani, my heart is full. Being a part of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has been nothing short of an honor. A show that has been a part of television history, and a legacy I grew up knowing, became a part of my own journey. Playing the daughter of Tulsi and Mihir Virani is something I’ll always carry with immense pride.”
The actress further shared everything big that happened to her because of Kyunki 2, “This journey gave me so much more than memories, it gave me my first Star Parivaar Award and my first Indian Television Academy (ITA) Award, milestones that will always hold a very special place in my heart. Special thanks to @ektarkapoor @balajitelefilmslimited for making it happen.”
Extending her gratitude to the producer Ektaa Kapoor, Shagun said, “My heartfelt gratitude to Ekta Kapoor, Balaji Telefilms, and everyone who believed in me and trusted me with Pari.
