Actor Yuvraj Malhotra is extremely thankful to God for giving him a new lease of life. The actor who is known for his performances in shows Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, Waaris, Savitri Devi College aur Hospital, etc had a bout of food poisoning that led to life-threatening complications.
The actor initially suffered from food poisoning, but the problem happened when a small portion of his puke got into the lungs and he had major breathing problems.
He was soon admitted to a hospital in Delhi where he was put on a ventilator with his condition becoming really critical.
Says Yuvraj, “The doctors had told my family that the puke had blocked the oxygen pipe and that they had put me on the ventilator. I was in fact unconscious for 36 hours and did not know that I was in a very critical phase. Thanks to the hard-working doctors and the entire team in the hospital that I got better. They were there for me 24*7 when I was critical. Above all, God has given me a second lease of life, and when I think that I went through all that I did, I am really thankful and feel blessed.”
Yuvraj is a true fighter and he has shown his zeal to get better. With all positivity, he says, “I am glad that I am home now. My family is taking all the care. I am on the road to recovery and am eager to get working again.”
